Milltown Knights of Columbus July 4th 5K Run
The Milltown Knights of Columbus July 4th event in Milltown, New Jersey, features a 5K race and a 1 Mile fun run as part of the town's Independence Day activities. The event serves as a major fundraiser for Our Lady of Lourdes Knights of Columbus Council 7250 and typically attracts over 400 racers each year.
Registration opens on February 1, 2026. Online registration closes on July 2, 2026; registration fees are $30 for the 5K (includes a collectible T-shirt for registrations on or before July 2) and $10 for the 1 Mile fun run. Last minute on-site registration is available at a higher fee of $35 per person.
Bib pickup is available the day before the race at Road Runner Sports, 501 Shoppes Blvd, North Brunswick, NJ 08902, and race day pickup is available at the Milltown Senior Center across from Borough Park. Times and winners will be posted online at tristatetiming.com.
Proceeds from the race support many local and area charities and community programs, including Make a Smile Foundation, the Milltown 4th of July Committee, Milltown Little League and Softball, Milltown Rescue Squad, area food pantries, Life Choices of Metuchen, Ozanam Men’s Shelter in New Brunswick, the Lion’s Club Thanksgiving meal program, Spotswood High School Project Graduation, Coats for Kids, local scouts, Special Olympics, the Nicole Surace Scholarship Fund, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and others.
