Millner Heritage Wine Run 5k
The Millner Heritage Wine Run 5k takes place on May 17, 2026 at Millner Heritage Vineyard & Winery in Kimball, Minnesota. The event centers on a chip timed 5k run/walk that is timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
The course starts and finishes at the winery and moves over vines and grass. It is mostly a cross country style route with areas of uneven footing, so it is not promoted as a course for personal best times. The route is presented as suitable for both runners and walkers.
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip timed race bib, results posted online, and a pour of wine. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for a shipping and handling fee of $10.
The event is open to ages 1 through 99. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or wine pour. Dogs are allowed on leash. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each ten year category, including 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over. Free race photos are available for download. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
