Overview
The Millner Heritage Wine Run 5k is an annual running and walking event held at the Millner Heritage Vineyard & Winery in Kimball, Minnesota.
Event Details
The main event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk on a cross-country style course. The route starts and finishes at the winery and goes through areas with vines and grass. The course has uneven footing, so it is not recommended for participants seeking a personal best time. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to the uneven ground. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
Participant Information
The event is open to participants aged 1 to 99. Registration includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Participants under 20 receive a discounted registration that includes the shirt, medal, and bib, but not the wine glass or wine pour. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year age category. Packet pickup is on race day only, opening one hour before the event starts.
Other Options
A virtual participation option is available. Participants can switch to a virtual run and have their packet shipped for an additional fee. There is also a separate "Help With Check-in" volunteer registration option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
