Event Details
The 4th Annual Miles for Missions event features three running distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. Registration ends on April 17, 2026. The registration fee for the 10K is $40.
Course Information
The race starts on 2nd Street SW in Red Bay, Alabama, next to Heritage Park. The route makes a small loop to a backstreet before entering the Gober Drive subdivision, which includes the course's highest climb. This section is noted as being in honor of Mount Fuji. After exiting backstreet, the course circles Red Bay High School. 5K runners finish back at Heritage Park, while 10K runners complete a second loop of the same course. The 1 Mile Fun Run takes place after the 5K and 10K and circles the main street area.
Event Purpose
The event raises funds for a church mission trip to Japan in October. The purpose of the trip is to share beliefs, teach English, and encourage missionaries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
