Miles for Migraine San Diego

Miles for Migraine San Diego is a nonprofit fundraising event held in person at Balboa Park, 6th and Laurel South Lawn, San Diego, CA, with a virtual option. The live event takes place on November 7, 2026 and the virtual window runs November 5 to 8, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation so people can support local migraine and headache disease efforts either on site or from elsewhere.

All funds raised support local migraine research, education for headache fellows, and Miles for Migraine programming. Specific local beneficiaries include UC San Diego Health La Jolla Headache Fellowship for provider training and San Diego area research. Fundraising incentives vary by amount raised and have included items such as a duffel bag, Yeti Rambler, Yeti Hopper, or Apple Watch. Registration for the in-person event is open to all. Virtual participants may complete any form of intentional movement on their own schedule during the virtual window; event swag and finisher medals can be mailed to virtual participants for an additional fee. Strollers are allowed at the San Diego event with the request that participants start toward the back of the group and stay to the right on out and back sections to reduce interference with other participants.
