Miles for Migraine San Diego
Miles for Migraine San Diego is an annual fundraising event organized by a nonprofit to raise awareness and funds for people affected by migraine and headache disease. Proceeds support local migraine and headache research, education for headache fellows, and Miles for Migraine programming in San Diego. Funds are donated to UC San Diego Health - La Jolla Headache Fellowship to support training and research locally.
The event is a hybrid format with an in-person gathering at Balboa Park, 6th and Laurel South Lawn, San Diego, CA 92101, and a virtual participation window from November 5 to November 8, 2026. The in-person event is scheduled for November 7, 2026. The San Diego 5K run is professionally timed; the 2 mile walk is untimed. Registration for the in-person event is open to all. Packet pickup is listed as TBD.
Virtual participants may complete intentional movement from any location at their own pace; event swag and finisher medals can be mailed for an added fee. Strollers are allowed; participants using strollers are asked to start toward the back and to keep right on out-and-back sections. Fundraising prizes vary by amount raised and have included items such as a duffel bag, Yeti Rambler, Yeti Hopper, or an Apple Watch.
