Miles for Migraine - San Diego 2026

Miles for Migraine - San Diego takes place on November 7, 2026 at Balboa Park in San Diego. The event is a fundraiser for migraine and headache awareness, treatment and research. Funds raised will support Miles for Migraine programs and services and the UCI Health Headache Center for local migraine research and fellowship training programs.

The event offers multiple participation options:

  • 2 mile untimed walk
  • 5K chip timed run

Additional options include a Relax area for attendees who do not wish to walk or run and a virtual participation option that includes a participant shirt, an event bib, and a finisher medal. The 5K run is professionally chip timed. The untimed walk and the Relax option are free; virtual and timed run entries have registration fees.

Participants can listen to pre event speakers and visit sponsors and festival-area booths. A Relax tent will be available with seating and low stimulation activities. Finishers of the walk and run receive a finisher medal. There are packet pick up opportunities before the event and on the event morning at the site. Prizes and awards are given for fundraising achievements and for top overall finishers in listed categories. Sponsors named for the event include Pfizer, Lundbeck, AbbVie, Amneal, Axsome, and Teva.
