Miles for Merrick
Miles for Merrick is a community running and walking event in Amarillo, Texas, held on September 19, 2026. The event offers the following distances:

Registration opens April 6, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026. Registration fees are $25 for the 1 mile and $30 for the 5k. Race timing will be provided by the Amarillo Lone Star Runners Club.
Packet pick up is available the day before the event, September 18, at GetFit Georgia, 1911 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, and on race morning at 8:15 am.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Turn Center in Amarillo, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy services and support to children with developmental challenges. The event is presented as a local opportunity for families, friends, and community members to come together in awareness and support.
