Miles for Meridian 5K
The Miles for Meridian is an annual community 5K walk/run/roll held at Tioga Town Center in Newberry, FL. The event is presented as the seventh edition and takes place in February.
All proceeds benefit Meridian Healthcare. Meridian Healthcare aims to promote the heart, life and community for those affected by mental illnesses and substance use disorders through primary care, coordinated treatment, and supportive services.
Participant amenities noted by the organizer include a custom designed medal for the first 100 registrants and a T-shirt for every participant. Packet pickup is available on race morning. A virtual race app option is offered to use a phone's GPS to track the event and upload a verified time automatically.
