Miles for Meals - East Berne
Miles for Meals is a community event held Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Helderberg Mountain Brewing Company, 83 Main Street, East Berne, NY. The event centers on a 5K Walk/Run to support the Gathering Hope Food Pantry.
The Walk/Run is followed by a block party with live music by Black Mountain Symphony. Food will be served by the Babbling Brook, offering chicken, ribs, and BBQ veggie skewers listed as vegan. Additional activities at the block party include a bake sale, basket raffles, and a Kids Zone with activities for children. Donations of non perishable food items brought to the event are encouraged. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair because on site seating is limited.
Entry fees differ by age group and by registration timing: students ages 18 and under are $20 pre registration and $25 day of race; adults ages 19 to 64 are $25 pre registration and $30 day of race; seniors 65 and up are $20 pre registration and $25 day of race. A T shirt is guaranteed for participants registered by September 30 at 11:59 pm. Online pre registration closes at 6 pm on October 17.
