Event Details
The NARMC Miles for Hope 5K is a running and walking event in Harrison, Arkansas. The event includes a 5K run/walk, a one-mile fun run, and a virtual run/walk option. The proceeds support cancer care services at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center's Claude Parrish Cancer Center.
Participant Information
The event offers separate registrations for different age groups with varying fees. There are categories for participants aged 18 and older, 5-17 years old, and 4 years and younger. The event is hosted by the North Arkansas Medical Foundation.
Race Day Information
The start and finish location is the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. There is a parking lot located north of a Sonic Drive-In. A check-in tent for late packet pick-up is located on the east side of the hospital, where water and refreshments will be available. Participants are advised to arrive early due to expected road closures and traffic.
Included Perks and Awards
All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, a medal, and cancer awareness ribbons. There is a "Wall of Hope" for messages. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K, first-place winners in eight age divisions for the 5K, and the top three overall finishers in the one-mile fun run.
Packet Pick-Up
Race packets, which include a bib, t-shirt, and ribbons, must be picked up before race day. Pick-up is available at the hospital's Community Relations Office on the Thursday and Friday before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
