About the race
Presented by Pi Kappa Alpha, Miles for Heroes is a campus 5K scheduled for November 8, 2026 on NCSU Centennial Campus in Raleigh. The event raises funds for the 200 Club, an organization that supports families of fallen police officers and firefighters, and routes around the Central Utility Plant at 830 Main Campus Drive.
The course follows a scenic, established running route on Centennial Campus and is organized as a timed 3.1 mile run or walk. The event is open to NC State students, faculty, staff, and members of the Raleigh community. Water stations are placed along the course.
Registered participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt. A post race celebration includes food, drinks, and awards for top finishers. Event entry is offered at a stated price of USD 20 and the organizer indicates a no refund policy. All proceeds are directed to support the families served by the 200 Club.
