Miles and Motors for Music 5K
The Miles and Motors for Music 5K is a community sports event held in Hereford, Texas. Organizers have established this inaugural event to benefit the Hereford High School Band Boosters. The proceeds from the race are used to support students by funding instruments, uniforms, travel opportunities, and the fall marching show.
The event features a 3.1 mile (5K) course that participants can complete by running or walking. The activity takes place at 300 Park Ave, serving as a gathering point for local runners and supporters of the music program.
In addition to the running race, the day includes several stationary attractions for attendees to explore. A Car and Bike Show is held on-site, alongside various local vendors and food trucks. This combination of athletics and community entertainment provides a broad range of activities beyond the competitive run. Participation is open to those who register during the designated window in March.
