Mike Hess Brewing Run : San Diego 5k Fun Run
This event is a 5k untimed fun run held at Mike Hess Brewing in North Park, San Diego. The course starts and ends at the brewery taproom and is clearly marked. Roads remain open during the run and participants must follow all traffic laws.
Registration includes one craft brew from Mike Hess Brewing at the finish and a choice of Brewery Running Series swag, such as a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item. The event features post-run music, games, prizes and partner giveaways. Ten percent of proceeds from the event support local nonprofit organizations.
Event details note that the run proceeds rain or shine and that the course is open rather than closed to traffic. Participants should bring photo ID; those under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage instead of alcohol. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care, and there is no bag check on site.
