37th Annual Midnight Madness Run
The 37th Annual Midnight Madness Run is organized by StartLine Racing at the Kiwanis Park Soccer Field Cross Country Course in Tempe, AZ. The event spans the end of 2026 and the start of 2027 and features two separate 5K races: the final 5K of 2026 and the first 5K of 2027, with a New Year celebration and a sparkling cider toast between them.
Participants can enter a single race, register for both races as a Double Down option, or take part virtually. Virtual registration is limited to US addresses and includes shipping of event items after the event. Runners who register for both in-person races receive two separate medals that connect to form one larger medal.
Race services and amenities include custom finisher medals, a custom Dri-Fit long sleeve hooded shirt (with a no-shirt option), chip timing with real time results and event photos, and pre- and post-race snacks. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in standard age categories. The course may be changed if race staff deems it unsafe. The event is leashed pet friendly, has no bag check because of the common start and finish, and does not offer refunds for inclement weather.
Packet pick-up is available at Road Runner Sports in Tempe on December 30 and at the Kiwanis Park South Entrance on race day. Race day registration and payment options include cash and credit cards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
