Mid-Year Trail Run - Stellenbosch
The Mid-Year Trail Run takes place at the Dirtopia Trail Centre on Muratie Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on Sunday 28 June 2026. The event uses the Dirtopia trail system at the foot of Simonsberg and features hand-built singletrack through vineyards and forested paths. Routes are adjusted regularly to use different Dirtopia trail options.
Distances offered include:
- 6 km short route
- 11 km long route
Pre-entry fees are listed for the distances and for under-18 entrants. Pre-entries close at midnight on 26 June. An Amarider trail tag is required for timing; rental is R25. Live results are provided for pre-entries and results for late entries are published after the event.
Refreshment stations on both routes supply Powerade, fruit and cold water. All finishers receive a medal and a Coke. Prizes and prize draws include Muratie wine, Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, SOX products and a pair of 361degrees trail shoes. Fresh coffee and grab-and-go meals will be available next to the Trail Centre, and sit-down meals are offered at Muratie’s Farm Kitchen by prior booking.
