Miami International Airport (MIA) Runway 5K
The event is a road running race held at Miami International Airport with a distance of 5K. The host location for packet pick-up and event operations is the American Airlines Maintenance Hangar at 4640 NW 36 Street, Bldg 890, Miami, FL 33166.
Packet pick-up is available on the day before the event and on event day at the hangar. Participants collect a race bib, a wristband, and an event T-shirt. Participants who pick up early will be wristbanded on site and must wear the wristband through event day because of airport security requirements. Spectators pick up a wristband that grants access to the hangar and to designated spectator areas.
For security reasons each individual participant must present a valid government issued photo ID to collect a packet. Digital copies or photos of IDs are not accepted by TSA and will be rejected. No ID means no entry.
All runners and walkers will be escorted from the hangar to the start line. Late arrivals will be denied access to the hangar and to the event and are not eligible for refunds, deferrals, or other make goods. Registration fees listed for the event include a participant fee of $80.00 and a spectator ticket fee of $10.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
