Meyerhoff's Mayhem
Meyerhoff's Mayhem is a 48 hour endurance event held at Big Woods Campground in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The core format consists of repeated 4 mile legs over a 48 hour period, with an optional 2 mile add on after the final leg.
The event offers individual and team relay entries for teams of 2 to 4 people. Teams may divide legs among members as they choose. Ruck participants may use weight of their choice. Halloween costumes are encouraged.
Food and drink are provided at each leg with items that include veggie broth, energy balls, GU, water, donuts, bagels, fruit, sandwiches, chips, soup, sloppy joes, pasta salad, and PB bars; the listed menu may change. Personal lights are required for running in darkness. Pets are not permitted for the runs.
Participants receive race sweatshirts and finishers receive medals; volunteers receive t shirts. The organizer states a no refund policy. Registration fees are listed in the range of $87.76 to $99.13 USD, with availability shown for a limited number of offers.
