Event Details

The event format involves completing a 4-mile run every four hours, starting on a Friday. The course begins in a tent area and uses a mix of paved trails and a disc golf course, providing varied terrain. Participants must provide their own personal lights for runs in the dark. Pets are not permitted during the runs. The event is dedicated to the memory of Chad Meyerhoff, who was passionate about running and pushing limits.

Participation Options

There are two main participation categories:

  • 48-hour Individual
  • 48-hour Team Relay for 2-4 people

Team relay participants can break up the legs among members as they choose. The event also welcomes ruck participants, who may use a weight of their choice. Halloween costumes are encouraged.

Schedule and Provisions

The first leg begins on a Friday. Light meals and water are provided throughout the event. A provisional menu includes items like veggie broth, energy balls, donuts, bagels, soup, sandwiches, and chips at various intervals.

Additional Information

Participants receive a race sweatshirt, and volunteers receive a t-shirt. Finishers are awarded medals. Registrations placed after a specified date in September are not guaranteed a shirt. The event has a no-refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
