Metahqua 24 - Chillicothe, OH
Metahqua 24 is a multi-distance trail running event held on June 6, 2026, in Chillicothe, Ohio. The event offers a variety of race formats on a roughly 2 mile loop trail that combines single track and grass trails. The course layout for one loop is approximately 0.7 mile uphill with about 200 feet of gain, 0.7 mile downhill with about 200 feet of loss, and 0.6 mile of flat terrain. Trails are described as groomed and run-able.
Race options include:
- Youth 2 mile single loop for runners under 18
- 10k three-loop race
- 24 hour solo race, as many laps as possible in 24 hours
- 24 hour four-person relay, as many laps as possible in 24 hours
- 100 mile solo race (new) with a 32 hour limit
A new rule separates the 100 mile option and the 24 hour races: the 24 hour race ends at 24 hours and running beyond that time in pursuit of the buckle is no longer permitted. Competitors who complete 100 miles within 24 hours remain eligible for the buckle.
Logistics note: parking will use Walnut Creek Campground with a shuttle to the race site; a per-vehicle parking fee applies. Each registered runner receives a 10x10 tent or crew area; relay teams share one space. Organizers assign setup times with priority to earlier registrants. Registration closes on Mon, Jun 1 at 11:59PM ET. RunFluent LLC does not issue refunds; deferrals are available if arranged at least four weeks before the event.
