Mesa Sprint Triathlon - Mesa, Arizona
The Mesa Sprint Triathlon is organized by a nonprofit foundation in Mesa, Arizona and is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2027. The event program includes a sprint triathlon, a duathlon, and a Youth Splash n' Dash held the same day.
The swim uses an 8 lane, 400 meter serpentine format with rolling starts; swimmers are seeded by anticipated 400 meter swim time. The bike and run legs follow standard triathlon transitions.
Race rules and safety measures are stated: helmets are required and must be buckled, bikes must be walked inside the transition area, aero bars are allowed, drafting is not allowed, and headphones are prohibited on the bike course. Water stations are located at the 1/2 mile and 2 mile marks of the run course. Relay teams are permitted.
Packet pickup is mandatory and will be held at a Mesa or Tempe location to be determined. Packet pickup will occur on either Wednesday, September 22 or Thursday, September 23; packets will not be available on the Friday before the event or on the day of the event. Participants may choose to have their race bib mailed for an additional $10. Each participant receives a custom T-shirt; shirts for those who register after September 1 are subject to availability.
