Mesa Sprint Triathlon
The Mesa Sprint Triathlon takes place at the Skyline Aquatics Center in Mesa, Arizona. This multisport event is a fundraiser hosted by the Foundation for Mesa Parks & Recreation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The proceeds from the event are used to support local community initiatives, specifically providing children with access to learn-to-swim programs and summer recreation programs managed by the city's Parks & Recreation department.
Participants in the event are timed using electronic triathlon chips. These chips are worn on the left ankle throughout the duration of the race, from the start until the finish line. The timing equipment is managed by 4 Peaks Racing, and athletes are responsible for returning the chips and neoprene straps upon completion of the course.
The event utilizes the facilities at the Skyline Aquatics Center, located at 845 South Crismon Road.
