Mesa Sprint Triathlon 2026 : Mesa, AZ
The event takes place at Skyline Aquatics Center, 845 South Crismon Rd, Mesa, AZ. It is organized as a series of race options and serves as a fundraiser for the Foundation for Mesa Parks and Recreation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports learn-to-swim and summer recreation programs for underprivileged children.
Race options include a sprint triathlon, a duathlon, relay teams, and a kids Splash-N-Dash. The sprint triathlon distance is a 400 meter swim, a 12 mile bike, and a 5 kilometer run. The duathlon format listed is a 1 mile run, 12 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. The kids Splash-N-Dash is listed as a 100 yard swim and a 1 mile run.
Timing is provided with triathlon chips by a third-party timer. Chips must be worn on the left ankle from start to finish, returned at the finish line, and lost or unreturned chips will be charged to the athlete. Packet pickup is scheduled on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24 at a TBD location in Mesa or Tempe; there is no race day packet pickup. Someone else may pick up a packet if waivers are signed and confirmation information is provided.
Participants receive a custom medal. A commemorative t-shirt is provided but only guaranteed for registrations completed before September 1. Transition will be outside the aquatics center and the finish line is on the track. Parking is available in the main lot at Skyline High School.
