Merrickville Heritage Classic Run
The Merrickville Heritage Classic Run takes place in Merrickville, Ontario, on April 25, 2026. The event is centered at the Merrickville Community Centre, 106 Read Street, Merrickville.
Event formats include both in person and virtual options:
- 2K Blockhouse Run
- 5K Canal Run
- 10K Jewel of the Rideau Run
- Half Marathon and virtual half marathon
T shirts are included for in person 5K and 10K registrants. T shirts for the 2K are available for purchase. All in person and virtual participants receive medals. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded for male and female classifications in the 5K and 10K. Additional recognitions include a Team Spirit Award and a Personal Achievement Award.
The course is certified and the event is accredited and insured. Chip timing is used for the 5K and 10K. Registration features an Early Bird period until February 28, 2026 and closes on April 20, 2026. There are no refunds, but registration transfers between people and events are allowed.
For in person 2K/5K/10K routes the course time limit is three hours; participants must move off the travelled portion of the road by 11:00 am and obey all traffic rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
