Mercy Health 5k and Fun Run : Wake Forest
The Mercy Health 5k and Fun Run is scheduled for October 31, 2026 at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The event benefits Mercy Health Clinic and directs proceeds to support the clinic’s mission to provide free medical care to people in need.
Participants can choose between these distances:
- 5K timed race
- 1 mile untimed fun run or walk
Registration opens April 22, 2026. Early and later registration fee tiers are listed for both events, with higher fees applied after July 31 and additional increases through October; registration is also accepted on the day of the event. The registration fee includes a T shirt, and entrants registered before October 15 will receive a T shirt.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before at North Wake Church and will also be available before the event at Joyner Park. Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to top male and female finishers in each age group: 10 and under, 11 to 20, 21 to 30, 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60, 61 to 70, and 71 plus.
