TSCL 4th Annual Mental Health 5K Run & Walk
The Self Care Lab, in partnership with the Claremont Unified School District, organizes this community event to promote mental health awareness. The gathering focuses on the connection between physical movement and mental wellbeing, supporting programs that utilize fitness and boxing to help individuals regulate stress and build resilience. This fourth annual edition serves as a fundraiser to expand healing-centered programs, secure a larger facility, and provide scholarships for underserved youth.
The event takes place at Claremont High School and includes the following options for participants:
- 3.1 Miles (Adult 5K Walk/Run)
- 3.1 Miles (Youth 17 & under 5K Walk/Run)
Participants who complete their registration by May 18 are guaranteed an official race t-shirt. Those who register after this date, including individuals using the day-of registration option, may receive shirts only while supplies last. The event features awards for top finishers and provides access to various community mental health resources.
The course is open to runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Packet pick-up is held on-site on the morning of the event. Proceeds from the registration fees support the Self Care Lab's mission to strengthen community wellbeing through movement and supportive programming.
