Event Overview
The Mena Run for Your Life event takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Janssen Park in Mena, Arkansas. The event offers two distances: a timed, competitive 5K run and a non-competitive 5K fun run/walk. The route follows the same course used for the Lum & Abner 5K. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a costume contest with prizes.
Registration Details
There are three registration options:
- Competitive 5K Run: $30 (includes an event T-shirt, finisher medal, and age group awards).
- Non-competitive Adult Fun Run/Walk: $15 (T-shirt not included but available for purchase; no finisher medals).
- Kids 12 & under: Free.
Early registration for the 5K run offers a $5 discount. T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-orders placed by October 15. Packet pickup and race-day registration will be available on the morning of the event at The Cabin at Janssen Park.
Additional Information
All proceeds from the event go to the Mena/Polk County Chamber Enhancement Foundation to support community programs. The 5K run is open to participants aged 13 and over. Walkers are welcome in the fun run/walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
