Mena Run for Your Life 5K Run & Fun Run
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Janssen Park on 7th Street in Mena, Arkansas. It features two 5K offerings: a timed, competitive 5K and a non-competitive 5K fun run/walk. Both routes follow the same scenic course used by the Lum & Abner 5K.
Registration opens April 25, 2026. The organizer lists an adult fun run fee of $15 and states that children 12 and under are admitted free. The competitive 5K is described as a timed race that includes an event T-shirt plus finisher and age group medals; the non-competitive adult fun run does not include a T-shirt but a T-shirt may be available for purchase and finisher medals are not provided.
Event T-shirts can be preordered and are guaranteed if ordered by October 15; race-day availability is not guaranteed and T-shirts are not guaranteed for in-person registration. Packet pickup and race day registration are available on race morning at The Cabin at Janssen Park. Costumes are encouraged and a costume contest with prizes is part of the event program.
