Event overview
The Mena Run For Your Life 5k Run & Fun Run is scheduled for October 31, 2026, at Janssen Park in Mena, Arkansas. The event includes a timed, competitive 5K and a non-competitive 5k fun run/walk for families and casual participants. The competitive 5K is open to participants aged 13 and older; children under 12 are admitted free for the fun run/walk.

The competitive 5K registration includes a T-shirt and finisher and age group awards. The fun run/walk is not timed; T-shirts for fun-run participants are available for purchase and kids 12 and under participate free. Event T-shirts can be preordered and are guaranteed if ordered by October 15; race-day availability is not guaranteed.
Packet pickup and race-day registration are available at The Cabin at Janssen Park. The course follows the same route as the Lum & Abner 5K. A costume contest with prizes is planned. Walkers are welcome. Proceeds from the event go to the Mena/Polk County Chamber Enhancement Foundation to support Chamber community programs.
