Memorial Day Apple Pie 5K and Whit's Ice Cream Mile
The Memorial Day Apple Pie 5K and companion races take place on 05/25/2026 at Spanish River Athletic Fields, 1000 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Multiple timed and untimed events are held on the same day.

Registration opened 12/29/2025. The main 5K registration closes 05/18/2026; other event registrations remain open through 05/25/2026. Fees listed by the organizer include a standard 5K fee of $35, a 1 Mile fee of $20, a 5K youth fee of $20, and a free kids race for ages 8 and under. Packet pickup is at Runner's Edge from May 20 to May 23. All 5K participants registered by 05/20 are guaranteed a finisher apple pie and a T shirt. All 1 Mile participants registered by 05/20 are guaranteed ice cream and a T shirt.
All active and retired US Armed Forces members who pre register and register in person at Runner's Edge with ID receive free race entry. Proceeds from the event benefit K9s for Warriors, a program that provides service dogs to veterans with PTSD or traumatic brain injury at no financial cost. Timing uses Accuchip with 5 year age groups, 3 deep from 10 and under to 70 and over, plus top 3 overall and top masters. The 1 Mile has top 3 male and female awards in specified youth age groups.
