Event Details
The Meijer Festival of Races presented by Cherry Bay Orchards will take place on July 11, 2026. This race series marks over 50 years of the event. The start and finish location is Traverse City Central High School at 1150 Milliken Dr in Traverse City, Michigan.

The event offers four running distances:

- Michigan Planners 10K
- Michigan Planners McKinley Challenge 15K
- Michigan Planners Half Marathon
Course Features
The series highlights the local agriculture and scenery of the Traverse City area. A unique feature is that all races finish on the DTE Energy Foundation Cherry Royale Parade route on Front Street. Additionally, the Half Marathon course includes a trail run through a private orchard in its first two miles; access is only permitted on race day.
Additional Information
Participants in the Half Marathon receive a bag of dried cherries at the finish line. The race also includes a photo contest with prizes.
