Event Information
The Meijer Festival of Races is a running event in Traverse City, Michigan, presented by Cherry Bay Orchards. It takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026. This event marks over 50 years of the festival.
The festival includes four different running distances:

- Michigan Planners 10K
- Michigan Planners McKinley Challenge 15K
- Michigan Planners Half Marathon
The event celebrates the local beauty and agriculture of the Traverse City area. Runners can expect unique course experiences, including a finish on a parade route. The half marathon route includes running through an orchard and a two-mile trail section on private property. The official start and finish location is at Traverse City Central High School on Milliken Drive.
