Meia Maratona do Porto
The Meia Maratona do Porto is a road race with a 21 km distance organised by Runporto. The official race start area is on Avenida de Dom Carlos I and the event includes a formal bib collection at Alameda Shop & Spot on the Friday and Saturday before the race; bibs and participation kits are not issued on race day.
Transport information lists the Metro Line 1 as a recommended option, with the Império stop about 1.7 km from the start/wardrobe area. A secure wardrobe is located at the start/finish at the Antigo Sanatório de Tuberculosos da Foz do Douro; participants must request and label a wristband at bib pickup and place their numbered wristband on their bag. Loose items are not accepted and the organisation does not assume responsibility for lost items.
The race provides pacemakers at set target paces, multiple on-course supply stations with water, sports drink, fruit and gels at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and 20 km, and access to showers at Clube Fluvial Portuense after the finish.
