Meet of Miles
The Meet of Miles is an annual track event held at Oakland Mills High School on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Participants run one mile on the track, which is four laps.
Races are organized in multiple heats by expected finish time. The event program includes short sprint and middle-distance races for younger athletes and two mile heats separated by expected finishing pace.

Registration is race day only. The fee structure listed for race day registration is: HCS members pay $1 for individual entries and $5 for family entries; non-members pay $2 for student entries and $5 for family entries.
Past editions have posted results and photos. Recent reported participation numbers include 58 runners in 2022, 41 runners in 2023, and 17 runners in a rescheduled 2025 meet. Photographs from past editions are available for years extending back to 2006.
The event schedule typically places the kids 100 m first, followed by the kids 400 m, then the mile heats with a faster heat and a slower heat separated by an expected finish time threshold. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
