Medicann 5K Your Way
The Medicann 5K: Your Way is a community event organised by the Island’s medicinal cannabis clinic, Medicann, in support of ABC Jersey. The event invites Islanders of all ages and abilities to run, walk, push a pram or bring a pet; there is no stopwatch or prescribed way to participate.
The route starts and finishes at CorbièrePhare Public Car Park and follows the railway walk to La Moye and back. The total distance is 5 kilometres. Awards are presented at CorbièrePhare Bar after the event.
The event is held in memory of Rose Shepherd, a Medicann patient who helped co-lead the first edition in 2024. Her involvement and outlook are cited as the inspiration for the Medicann 5K and a continuing influence on the event.
ABC Jersey provides support for Islanders affected by breast cancer; the event encourages fundraising and asks participants to raise or donate at least £100 to support their services. Ticket registration includes a bib number and a medal as part of the registration package. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
