Medical Lake Triathlon
The Medical Lake Triathlon is a multisport event held at Medical Lake Waterfront Park in Medical Lake, Washington. The event consists of open water swimming in Medical Lake, an out and back bicycle course along Medical Lake Drive and Tyler Road SR 902, and running laps around the lake.
Distances offered include:
- Super Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 11 mile bike, 5k run
- Sprint: 1/2 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 10k run
- Relay options: 2 person and 3 person teams with choices of swim, bike, or run legs
Relay participants must hold a USAT membership; a one day membership option is noted. Race entries for individual and relay categories include race items and services such as a pasta feed, an event technical long sleeve T shirt, and a finisher medal for participants. A mandatory recorded safety briefing is scheduled for May 27. Race packet pick up is available the day before the event and on race day.
The description of the bike course specifies an out and back route along Medical Lake Drive/Tyler Road SR 902. The sprint distance repeats the run loop twice.
