Medical Lake Trailblazer Tri/Du/5K
The Medical Lake Trailblazer races take place in Medical Lake, Washington, as part of Founders Day weekend. Events start and end at Waterfront Park near 1300 S. Lefevre St., and include triathlon, duathlon, team relays, and a 5K running race. The venue uses open water for the swim and paved roads and trails for the bike and run segments.
Distances for the main event types:
- Trailblazer Triathlon: 350 m swim, 10.2 mi bike, 2.92 mi run
- Trailblazer Duathlon: 1 mi run, 10.2 mi bike, 2.92 mi run
- Trailblazer 5K: 2.92 mi run
There are also team relay options for the triathlon and duathlon.
Registration opens January 1, 2027, and closes June 19, 2027. Published entry fees are $55.00 for individual triathlon and duathlon entries, $25.00 for the 5K, and $75.00 for team relays.
