Media 5 Mile Race 2026
The Media 5 Mile Race takes place in Media, Pennsylvania, featuring a course that winds through the historic downtown area of West State Street and local residential neighborhoods. This event utilizes a USATF-certified, two-loop course starting and finishing near West State Street and Veterans Square. Participants can choose between several participation formats:
- 5 Mile Race: The primary road race through the business and residential districts of Media.
- Virtual 5 Mile Race: An option for those who prefer to complete the distance on their own schedule. Participants in this category receive a t-shirt and medal but are not eligible for overall or age group awards.
- Kids Race: Free fun runs for children aged 11 and under, held at Barrall Park and Field across from Media Elementary School.
The event is limited to 1,800 registrants. Runners who register by June 1 are guaranteed a race shirt, available in both men's and women's cuts. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, the first-place masters (40+) male and female runners, and the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over. An awards ceremony and street party follow the conclusion of the main race at Veterans Square.
