The Media 5 Mile Race is scheduled for Friday, June 18, 2027 in Media, Pennsylvania, with the course centered on West State Street and Veterans Square. The main event is a USATF-certified, two-loop course that runs through residential and business areas and includes a passage along historic downtown State Street.
The event offers an in-person 5 Mile race plus a Virtual 5 Mile option. The virtual option includes a race T-shirt and medal available for pickup at the Media Community Center, flexible timing to complete the distance before race day, and online result submission; virtual participants are not eligible for overall or age-group awards.
Additional activities include free kids fun runs at Barrall Park and Field, located at State and Edgemont Streets across from Media Elementary. Packet pickup is scheduled in advance at the Media Community Center and there is a race day pickup at Veterans Square.
Registration information from the organizer notes that registration opens March 1 and the field is limited to 1,800 runners; the event listing indicates it is sold out and that there will be no day-of registration.
