Meatball Run - Summerville
The Meatball Run takes place on November 14, 2026 in Summerville, South Carolina. The event is the fourth annual edition and features a USATF certified 5K and a 1 mile fun run through the historic district. The course begins and ends at St Paul's Summerville, located at 316 W Carolina Ave.
The event is hosted by the Summerville Italian Feast and supports the Dorchester District II Educational Foundation; proceeds help fund local STEAM programs. The program includes multiple participation options:
- Meatball Run 5K
- Meatball Run 1 mile Fun Run/walk
- Meatball Run Virtual Option
- Meatball Run Speedwalking 5K
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category, and a team award is presented for highest participation. Registered 5K participants receive a t-shirt and a medal; 1 mile fun run participants receive a medal.
