McLeans Forest Run - Winter Edition 2027
The McLeans Forest Run - Winter Edition returns for its second year at McLeans Forest in the Waimakariri River Regional Park, Christchurch, New Zealand. The event offers three distance options that follow a mix of established walking tracks, gravel park trails and mixed-use walking and cycling tracks through the forest.
Participants can choose from:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
Entry fees vary by distance and registration period. Early bird, standard and late entry prices are listed for each distance, with all fees shown in NZD. Registrations received from midday 23 June will be issued a generic race bib without personalised details. Race results will be published on the SportsSplits website.
The event is open to runners and walkers and describes the course as scenic and well-supported through the riverside park.
