McKendree University Rise and Shine 5K

McKendree University Homecoming & Family Weekend Rise and Shine 5K Walk/Run and Kids' Dash
This event features a community 5K walk/run that follows a course through McKendree University campus and historic downtown Lebanon, with the start located at the circle drive in front of the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts. A short Kids' Dash of 150 meters takes place at the conclusion of the 5K around the same circle drive. Participants receive a t-shirt and a participant medal; Kids' Dash participants also receive a Raising Cane's certificate.
Distances:
- 5K walk/run through campus and downtown Lebanon
- 150 m Kids' Dash around the Hettenhausen Center circle drive
Logistics include early packet pickup from October 6 to October 8, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Hills Clubhouse on McKendree University's campus (1015 Belleville Ave., Lebanon, IL). Day-of check-in is at the purple tent in the center of the Hettenhausen circle drive. Parking for the event is in Lot H and participants will need to walk to the starting area.
Fees listed for the event are: Adult 5K $35, McKendree student 5K $20, and Kids' Dash $15. Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the top participant in each ten-year age division (10–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, etc.).
