McCormick 24, Gig Harbor
McCormick 24 is a timed running event held in Gig Harbor, WA on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event offers three time-based options: 24 hour, 12 hour day, and 12 hour night. The course is a roughly 2 mile loop with varied terrain and about 320 feet of climb per lap.
The start/finish and the primary aid station are located in an open field within the park, approximately 0.10 miles from the main trailhead. Multiple canopy tents will be set up in this area, including a designated tent for runner use. Participants may bring their own canopy tents, though space is limited. Drop bags are permitted for all participants.
The aid station will provide common food items with a mix of hot and cold offerings. Skratch and water will be available throughout the event.
Parking near the venue can be challenging. Off-road parking is available near the trailhead, and additional parking is available across the street in the fire department lot and the fire department training lot.
