McCall Trailrunning Classic : June 27, 2026
The McCall Trailrunning Classic is the 15th edition of an event first held in 2012, staged near Burgdorf Hotsprings in the Payette National Forest outside McCall, Idaho. Courses use alpine singletrack on sections of the original IMTUF100 route. The 2026 layout will run clockwise.
Start and finish are at the Pete Creek Trailhead and Campground, located about 2.5 miles north of Burgdorf Hotsprings on French Creek Road. Free dispersed camping is available at the trailhead and there are additional free and paid camping options nearby, as well as lodging at Burgdorf and Secesh Stage Stop.
Available race distances:
- 30K: Legend of Bear Pete loop, clockwise, about 3500 feet gain.
- 50K: Begins on Willow and Jeanette Creek Trails with a climb of Crystal Mountain, then joins the Bear Pete 30K loop.
Registration closes on June 24 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. The event publishes a refund policy: 50 percent refunds are issued until June 1 at 11:59 PM; after that date no refunds are offered. Entries are not transferable or eligible for rollover. If the race is cancelled for fire or severe weather there will be no refund or rollover.
