McCall Trailrunning Classic - June 27, 2026
The McCall Trailrunning Classic is an annual trail race held since 2012 near Burgdorf Hotsprings in the Payette National Forest, using trails from the IMTUF100 original course. The event offers mountain trail courses with significant elevation change and singletrack terrain.
Start and finish are at Pete Creek Trailhead and Campground, 2.5 miles north of Burgdorf Hotsprings on French Creek Road. Free dispersed camping is available at the trailhead; additional free and paid camping and lodging exist nearby at Burgdorf and Secesh Stage Stop.
Distances:
- 50K: Starts on Willow and Jeanette Creek Trails, climbs Crystal Mountain, then joins the Bear Pete loop.
- 30K: The Legend of Bear Pete loop with approximately 3500 feet of gain on a clockwise course.
Registration closes on Wed, Jun 24. The refund policy states a 50% refund is available until June 1 at 11:59pm; no refunds or bib transfers after June 1. Organizers note that if the race is cancelled for fire, severe weather, or similar conditions, refunds or rollovers may not be possible. Participants with financial hardship may contact organizers.
