MCBA Race Judicata 5K - Tempe
The MCBA Race Judicata is a fundraising running event on February 21, 2027 at Kiwanis Park, 101 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ. The event supports domestic violence shelters that provide emergency housing and other support services.
Event distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a Dri-Fit tech T-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a $5 reduction. The 5K includes male and female age-group awards for the top three finishers in each age category. The event uses chip timing with real-time results and race photos available online and via a mobile app. Pre- and post-race "Runner's Brunch" provides light refreshments.
Registration options include standard 5K and 1 Mile entries, a Sleep-In Donation option that supports the cause and includes an event shirt, and a mail-in registration accepted through February 15, 2027 that avoids online processing fees. Race day registration and packet pick-up occur at Kiwanis Park; packet pick-up is also available on race day at the race location.
The event is managed by StartLine Racing on behalf of the Maricopa County Bar Association. The course maps for both distances are provided by the organizers. Pets on leash are permitted; wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. The event proceeds in rain or shine; there are no weather refunds.
