May the Fourth Be With You 4k

Event Details
The May The Fourth Be With You event includes a 4k run/walk and a Darth Dash for children aged 5-9. It is scheduled for May 4th at Covered Bridge Park in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
All participants receive a themed t-shirt and a medal. The first 100 registered participants will receive a light saber. A costume contest is held, with awards for best costume in categories: male, female, boy, and girl.
Distances & Entry Fees
- Darth Dash (ages 5-9): The entry fee is tiered, starting at $10 until February 28.
- 4k Run/Walk: The entry fee is tiered, starting at $25 until February 28.
- Virtual Option: Available for a $35 fee from February 1 to May 4.
Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations received by April 15.
Awards
4k Awards: Top 3 overall male and female finishers. Top male and female grandmasters and masters. Age group awards for 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & older.
Darth Dash Awards (ages 5-9): Top 3 boys and top 3 girls.
Course and Logistics
Packet pickup is available on race day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event provides course maps and notes that arrow signs, volunteers, and police officers will be present on the route. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the course prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
