Event Overview
The May Day 5K takes place in Bluffton, South Carolina. The event features a 5K distance for runners and walkers. It offers three registration categories: a standard 5K Run/Walk, a discounted option for students under 18, and a discounted option for military personnel.
Course and Location
The race begins and ends at Martin Family Park at 68 Boundary Street. The course passes through Historic Old Town Bluffton and follows a route along the May River. Strollers and dogs are welcome.
Registration and Awards
The standard registration fee is $35, with price increases after a specified date. Discounted fees are $20 for students under 18 and $25 for military members. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for the first 225 registrants. Awards include gift cards for the top overall male and female finishers, medals for the top three finishers in each age division, and medals for the top three fastest dogs.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Palmetto Running Company on Minetta Lane from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On race day, packet pickup is at Martin Family Park from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Same-day registration is not available.
