Mauritius Marathon 2027 : event overview
The event at Saint Félix Public Beach in Savanne offers road races over multiple distances with looped routes and defined U-turns. Courses start and finish at Saint Félix Public Beach and follow coastal and inland roads toward Bel Ombre, Baie du Cap Anbalaba, Riambel and Le Morne depending on distance.
Distances:
- 5 km : out-and-back toward Bel Ombre with U-turn
- 10 km : out-and-back toward Bel Ombre with U-turn at 5 km
- 21.1 km : route toward Bel Ombre with U-turn at Baie du Cap Anbalaba, then back
- 42.195 km : route toward Riambel with first U-turn, then toward Le Morne with second U-turn
Registration includes an official race bib and timing, a finisher medal, race and post-race refreshments, and official results. Aid stations are planned approximately every 5 km offering water and food.
Cut off times are specified for the longer distances: 4 hours for the half marathon and 6 hours for the marathon. Age minimums are set by distance: 8 years for the 5 km, 12 years for 10 km, 16 years for 21.1 km, and 18 years for 42.195 km; there is no upper age limit. Rankings award the top three men and women overall for each distance; age-group rankings apply for the 10 km, half marathon and marathon.
