Maumee Glow 5K Rec Race/Walk : July 10, 2026
This event is a 5K running race and walk held at Maumee High School, 1147 Saco Street, Maumee, Ohio. In its 46th year, the event starts and finishes at the high school on an accurately measured, flat course with one water stop. A cooling station is provided by the Maumee Fire Department. Water, fruit, and snacks are available at the finish.
Awards are presented for Male and Female Overall, Master (40+), and Grand Masters (50+) in the 5K race; the walk is non-competitive. Age-group awards in the 5K race are at least three deep with no duplication of awards. Age groups include 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and older. Every participant receives a free Chick-fil-A coupon.
All preregistered participants receive a T-shirt; a very limited number of shirts are available on race day and a shirt size is guaranteed only for preregistration. Entry fees for pre-registration by June 26, 2026 are $22; late or day-of registration is $25. All proceeds benefit the Maumee Senior Center.
