Event Overview
The Maryhill Wine Run 5k is a timed running and walking event held at Maryhill Winery in Goldendale, Washington. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. The event is professionally timed by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
Course Details
The course starts and finishes at the winery. It is described as mostly cross-country style on grass with many turns around the perimeter of the vineyards.
Post-Race Activities
After the race, a post-race party includes a finish wine pour, with a choice of Winemaker's Red, Winemaker's White, or Classic Rose of Sangiovese. A food truck (Dad's Sourdough Bakery) will be on-site, and there will be live music from The Big North Duo. Free race photos are available for download.
Awards and Participation
Age group awards are available for the top three finishers in each 10-year category. The event is open to participants aged 1 to 99. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib, but no wine glass or wine pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Virtual participation is an option.
