Martinsville Half Marathon and 5K
The Martinsville Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Martinsville, Virginia, as part of the Miles in Martinsville race series. This event supports outreach programs of the Martinsville-Henry County Virginia Family YMCA and Activate MHC. The course utilizes the Dick and Willie Passage, featuring several extended climbs and downhills.

The Half Marathon has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Participants exceeding this duration may continue, but timing and official course support, including water stations, will no longer be available. Those who complete the distance receive an official finisher medal and a long-sleeve tech fabric unisex race shirt.
The 5K participants receive a short-sleeve tech fabric unisex race shirt. For those interested in the 5K Ruck, participants carry a 25-pound ruck weight through the course, with support provided by ALL VETS.
Awards are presented for both the Half Marathon and 5K categories. Overall place awards are given to the top three male and female runners. Additionally, age group awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in five-year age increments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
