Martin McGuinness Chieftain’s Walk NYC : Walk for Reunification
The 2026 Martin McGuinness Chieftains Walk NYC is scheduled for September 13, 2026 at Pier 25 in Hudson River Park, New York. The event is presented as a community walk in support of the Martin McGuinness Peace Foundation and its work promoting peace, reconciliation, and a united Ireland. This edition is noted as the sixth annual walk.
The day includes an opening celebration and registration prior to the walk. Participants collect event materials, there will be traditional Irish music, and foundation representatives will deliver remarks. The walking route begins and ends at Pier 25 and proceeds along the Hudson River waterfront to Pier 45 and back. A 4 Mile Walk is offered, including a family registration option.
