Event Overview
The Marsh Creek Sprint Triathlon takes place at Marsh Creek State Park in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The event features three different race formats: a standard individual sprint triathlon, an individual aquabike, and a triathlon relay for teams of two or three people.
Course Details
The sprint triathlon consists of a 750m swim, a 20k bike, and a 5k run. The swim is a time trial start in Marsh Creek Lake, using a single-loop, rectangular course. The bike course is a single loop on paved roads, passing by trout streams and forests. The run course is contained within the park and includes a notable uphill section near the first mile.
Event Features
Registration for participants includes a finisher medal, a long-sleeved tech shirt, custom race socks, a reusable packet pick-up bag, timed results, age group awards, a post-race meal, a finisher certificate, and free finish line photos. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Venue & Activities
