Marilyn's Meldon Madness

Marilyn's Meldon Madness is a challenging fell running event held near Okehampton at Meldon Dam pay and display car park. The senior race covers approximately five miles with a demanding 1,362ft ascent, taking runners to the highest point in southern England, High Willhays, and Yes Tor, offering stunning county views. The course requires self-navigation with compulsory checkpoints.

The race is licensed by the Fell Runners Association and encourages carrying a whistle, raincoat, and hat in poor weather. A junior race is also held with shorter distances tailored to age groups.
