The Margaritaville Run Orlando takes place in Kissimmee, Florida, starting and finishing at the Margaritaville Resort Orlando. This event offers several road race distances for participants who wish to run, walk, or stroll through tropical-themed surroundings. The courses utilize scenic resort pathways and local roads, providing a variety of terrains and views.
The event features three primary distances and a virtual option:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile course starting at the resort, passing through local roads, and finishing with a stretch through H2O Island to the Promenade at Sunset Walk.
- 10K: A 6.2 mile out-and-back route along Funie Steed Road that concludes on the Parrot Event Lawn.
- 5K: A 3.1 mile course winding through the resort's private pathways and finishing on the Parrot Event Lawn.
- Virtual Run: A remote participation option that includes a race bib, tech tee, and finisher medal mailed to the participant.
Participants receive an official tech tee and a finisher medal upon completion. The event site hosts a pre-race happy hour and a post-race festival featuring live music and an expo.
