March for the Fallen 2026 : Riverside State Park

March for the Fallen takes place on September 12, 2026 at Riverside State Park Seven Mile Airstrip, 7 Mile Trailhead, Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026. The event offers timed run, walk and ruck options on measured routes and a virtual option with mailed materials.

All in-person participants are timed and events are fully supported. Awards are given to top finishers; ruck competitors must carry packs weighing at least 35 pounds to be eligible for ruck awards. Organizers recommend filling ruck packs with food pantry items that will be donated after the March.

Registration opens Memorial Day Weekend 2026 and closes September 4, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30.00. Event materials and features include event tees, ruck patches, a mailed bib and tee for virtual participants, on-site BBQ, historic military vehicles, and lawn games. There is special pricing for children 12 and under. Kids and leashed dogs are welcome.

A Discover Pass is required for access to Riverside State Park and enforcement will be in effect. March for the Fallen is part of the WA State Fallen Heroes Project, a 501c3 organization dedicated to honoring and remembering post 9/11 Fallen Heroes, supporting their families, and engaging communities.
