About the race
The Maratona Monumental de Brasília is a multi-distance road running event held in Brasília, Brazil, on 21 and 22 November 2026. The program includes four official distances:

The courses run along the Eixo Monumental and the Esplanada dos Ministérios area, with routes described as wide, predominantly flat, and designed with minimal elevation gain to support fast times. The event is measured and certified by World Athletics and AIMS, ensuring course accuracy and international recognition of results. The race is also part of the Mega Finisher South America Run Series; it is stated to be the only Brazilian marathon in that circuit.
Organizers report large participation levels in recent editions, noting over 10,000 athletes from about 40 countries and more than 12,000 athletes in 2025.
