About the race
The Maratona Internacional de São Paulo takes place across two days in April 2027 and includes an expo with kit pickup, multiple race distances and an associated 5 km event called Corrida das Nações. The main race day arena is at Ibirapuera Obelisco in São Paulo; the Corrida das Nações arena is at Campo de Marte.

The event publishes measured courses, pacing charts, altitude profiles, aid-station locations and cut-off points along the marathon route. An Expo Atleta is held near Parque Ibirapuera (Oca), where kits are distributed on the days before the race and on race weekend. Race numbers include an electronic timing chip; instructions require the chip be worn on the chest, visible and not folded or detached. Medical support, water, isotonic, snacks and toilets are listed at multiple aid stations along the courses. A guarded baggage service is provided with rules and limitations; items of high value are discouraged.
The organization offers a 50% discount for some registration categories for participants aged 60 and over and provides a dedicated service counter for those athletes during kit pickup.
