About the race
The Maratona de Vitória 2027 takes place on 28 and 29 August along the Orla de Vitória, with routes starting and finishing at Praça do Papa (Rua Judite Maria Tovar Varejão, Enseada do Suá, Vitória). The event offers measured courses and is a qualifying race for international majors.
Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km (half marathon)
- 42 km (marathon)
- Combined challenge options: 5 km + 21 km, 10 km + 42 km
- Kids program with distances from 50 m to 400 m by age group
Categories include general and athlete-with-disability divisions for each main distance. Age minimums are specified per distance: 42 km 20 years; 21 km 18 years; 10 km 18 years; 5 km 15 years; Maratoninha Kids 4–14 years. Each distance has an official time limit and the organization provides infrastructure for registered participants only, including medical support, hydration, snacks, toilets, and guarded storage near the start/finish at Praça do Papa.
Kits are available for pickup at the Tenda na Praça do Papa on 26 and 27 August 2027 (and 28 August for some distances). Assessorias Esportivas may set up tents in a reserved area from 27 August.
