Marathon Vert Rennes Groupe Interaction
Le Marathon Vert Rennes Groupe Interaction takes place in Rennes on 17 and 18 October 2026. The event groups several urban running formats across two days and presents an ecological commitment linked to tree planting.
The programme includes a marathon held over two loops entirely in the city with a very rolling and fast profile, labelled OR International FFA, plus a set of other races: a measured nocturnal 10 km Lamotte labelled OR International FFA, the Féminine Yves Rocher 5 km nocturnal race with a Bronze regional FFA label and reserved for women, a marathon relay split among four runners, and a marathon duo split between two runners. The 2026 edition also introduces the Mile Battle by TRC, a 1 609 m race.
The event emphasises sustainable practices and solidarity through a partnership with the Fondation Yves Rocher. For 2026 the organisation applies an impact rule of 2 km run = 1 tree planted and aims to support the planting of more than 150 000 trees. Over 14 years participants have contributed to planting 1 734 739 trees in Germany, India, Portugal and France.
On site, the Marathon Village gathers practical services such as bib collection, exhibitor stands, a shop, food areas, wellness spaces and an enterprise village.
